Bank of Japan May Raise Interest Rates to 1.75% by Spring 2024

Former Bank of Japan official Seiji Maeda suggests that the central bank's policy interest rate might increase to 1.75% by spring 2024. He also indicated that a potential rate hike could occur as soon as December of this year.
