Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Trading With Friends (tradingwithfriends.com) is operated by Trading With Friends. This policy explains what personal data we collect from readers, why, and the rights you have over it.
1. Data controller
Trading With Friends is the data controller for the personal data collected through tradingwithfriends.com. Contact: info@tradingwithfriends.com.
2. Data we collect
Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email address and the date and confirmation of your subscription. We only send the newsletter after you confirm the link we email you.
Comments: if commenting is enabled and you comment, the name and email you provide together with the text of your comment.
Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept for security and to keep the site running, and aggregate audience statistics that do not identify you.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your data to deliver the newsletter you asked for (your consent), to publish and moderate comments (our legitimate interest in running the site), and to keep the site secure and available (legitimate interest).
We do not sell your data. If you accept adverts, the advertising networks process what they collect under their own policies (see the section on cookies and advertising).
4. Retention
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe; every email carries an unsubscribe link. Comments stay published until you ask us to remove them. Server logs are deleted after a short period.
5. Service providers
The site is hosted and published on the Pilotofy platform, and emails are delivered through an email delivery provider. These providers process data only on our instructions.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict its processing, by writing to info@tradingwithfriends.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
8. Cookies and advertising
This site shows adverts from advertising networks (such as Google AdSense or Adsterra). Those networks may store cookies or other identifiers in your browser to show the adverts, measure them and, if you accept, tailor them to your interests. They are loaded only after you accept in the cookie notice; if you refuse, the site shows no adverts and no advertising identifier is stored.
You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser: it will ask again. The site itself stores only a cookie with your choice and, if you pick a language, one with the language. Visit statistics use no cookies and identify nobody.
